Welcome to VitaminHill. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VitaminHill website located at vitaminhill.com and all services offered through it. By accessing or using the website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the website or services.

2. Nature of Services
VitaminHill makes single-serve electrolyte stick packs for hikers and trail runners and sells them as route packs sized to a planned hike, plus refill subscriptions, shipped from Boulder, Colorado.
Each stick is a single serving of sodium, potassium, magnesium and B vitamins, in four flavors: Ridge Salt, Switchback Citrus, Summit Recovery and Base Camp (unflavored).
The pack builder on the website is free to use. You enter the distance, elevation gain, forecast high and time out for a planned hike, and the builder counts how many sticks that day needs and in what order. Using the builder does not place an order.
Sticks are sold as one-off route packs (the Trailhead Pack) and through two subscriptions, the Season Box and the Expedition Crate. Every route pack ships in a printed trail sleeve that lists the route, the mileage and the order to take the sticks. Orders ship from Boulder, Colorado.
Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. Prices are shown before you subscribe, and you can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the period you paid for.
3. Health and Supplement Disclaimer
The stick counts, guides and other content on this website are general hydration information for healthy adults. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for advice from a physician or other qualified health professional. The pack builder works from the numbers you enter and cannot account for your own sweat rate, health or medications.
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Talk to a physician before using VitaminHill products if you are pregnant or nursing, take any medication, or have a medical condition, especially a kidney or heart condition or a diet that limits sodium. Do not exceed the stated serving. Water still does most of the work: drink to thirst, and stop and seek help if you feel unwell on the trail.
4. Orders and Route Packs
A Trailhead Pack is built from the hike you enter. The order summary shows the number of sticks, the flavors, the order to take them, and any stick added for heat or altitude, with the reason. You can change the stick counts before you order. You are responsible for entering accurate route and forecast details.
Example routes and order summaries shown on the website are examples only. An order is accepted when we confirm it, and we may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if a product is unavailable or a price was shown in error.
5. Subscriptions
The Season Box (20 sticks a month) and the Expedition Crate (60 sticks a quarter) renew automatically and are charged at the start of each period until you cancel.
You can skip a delivery, swap flavors, pause, or cancel by contacting us before the next ship date. Changes made after a box ships apply to the next one. Canceling stops future shipments and charges and does not refund a box that has already shipped; an unopened shipped box can be returned under Returns and Damaged Packs.
Expedition Crate members choose their own resupply ship dates. Season Box members pay the member price for route packs while the subscription is active.
6. Shipping
Orders ship from Boulder, Colorado, to addresses in the United States. Trailhead Packs are usually packed and shipped within 2 business days and carry a flat shipping charge shown before you order. Season Box and Expedition Crate deliveries ship free.
Delivery dates are estimates from the carrier. Order early enough for your hike; we are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or an incorrect address.
7. Returns and Damaged Packs
If a pack arrives damaged, leaking, or burst, or with the wrong item or count, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will replace it or give a full refund, including shipping, and you do not need to send it back.
Unopened, sealed packs may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Contact us first by email at support@vitaminhill.com or by phone at (888) 338-9216 and wait for return instructions. We refund the product price to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days after inspection. Original and return shipping are not refunded unless the error was ours. Opened or partial packs, loose sticks, and product stored in heat or sun cannot be returned.
8. Prices
Prices shown on the website are proposed and may change. The price that applies to an order is the one shown on the order summary when you place it. We will tell subscribers about a price change before it applies to their next renewal.

How we collect, use and protect personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property
All content on the VitaminHill website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of VitaminHill or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from this website without prior written consent from VitaminHill.
The VitaminHill name and logo are trademarks of VitaminHill. Nothing on this website grants any license or right to use any trademark without the prior written permission of VitaminHill.
11. SMS Messaging – Marketing Messages
By opting in to the VitaminHill Text Club program, you give your express consent to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from VitaminHill at the mobile number you provide. These messages may include Restock alerts, New flavor drops, and Seasonal packs. Messages come from VitaminHill only; we do not send third-party offers by SMS. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase or of using VitaminHill.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to [INSERT SHORT CODE]. Upon receipt of your STOP message, you will be removed from all future SMS communications. Supported carriers include: AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, Google Voice, Cellular One, Cellcom, Cellular South, Interop, Clearsky
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. VitaminHill does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier's standard messaging rates may apply.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The VitaminHill website and all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. VitaminHill does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components, and makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the website.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VitaminHill disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VitaminHill, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the website or services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
In no event shall VitaminHill's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the website or services exceed the total amount paid by you to VitaminHill during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the website or services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.

VitaminHill reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
